Park board extends master-plan survey after consultants report strong response but outreach gaps

Robert Levash, chair of the Board of Park Commissioners, and consultants from Tighe & Bond updated the board on participation in the town's parks master-plan survey. Ryan, a Tighe & Bond representative who joined online, said, "We have had a fairly good response rate," and walked the board through feedback collected so far.
The consultants and Levash noted several youth sports groups have not yet been reached for interviews, and respondents who have taken the survey frequently singled out field space as a key issue. Levash suggested extending the survey and mounting a final outreach push; the board agreed to extend the survey end date to February 20 and to send another email to groups and contacts to capture additional responses.
