Staff outlines major overhaul of land‑use table and land‑use standards

"We organized them all, combined similar uses and alphabetized them by category so that it was easy to find," Sherry said, noting specific regulatory additions for car dealerships, drive‑through stacking, food trucks, energy‑storage facilities and cell‑tower standards by zone.
Council members commended the breadth of the work and raised editorial and policy questions — for example, whether some uses should remain conditional and how to address enforcement and appeals for short‑term rental licensing. Staff noted they plan to return the item for formal action after council review and corrections and asked council to flag any typographical inconsistencies (one council member had already identified an internal inconsistency on cargo container stacking language).
