Two new board members sworn in; board confirms officers for 2025

Andrea Lee Brooks and Angie Therese were sworn in as members of the Morgan District Board of Education at the start of the board's meeting. Business administrator Scott McMillan administered the oath for at least one new member, who recited, "I will discharge the duties of my office with fidelity."

The board then opened nominations for board president and vice president for the two-year term. A board member moved to nominate Davine Adams for president and Kelly Preese for vice president; the nominations were seconded and the chair declared they were cast by unanimous support. On routine business, the board approved the 2025 board schedule and assignments after a motion and second; the chair called for the question and recorded the approval by voice vote.
