Retaining wall done and Sandy Stormwater project nearing completion, staff says

Staff (S7) told the commission the retaining wall that will support the first building at Copper Creek Apartments is finished, waterproofed and backfilled, though capping of the fly ash has not yet started. The speaker said rain had disrupted progress but overall the project has been running "pretty good lately."

S7 also reported the Sandy Stormwater Project is expected to finish around the first week of August; a few remaining items need discussion before the final pay application is submitted. Chair (S1) and staff agreed to continue monitoring completion milestones and staff will return with pay-app specifics when the contractor submits final documentation.
