Committee members asked whether the district maintains a catalog and whether anything salvageable (rare metals, parts) would be recovered. Finance/IT staff replied the inventory is barcoded and tracked when equipment is issued and that the district partners with a technology recycling firm to handle end-of-life devices; any revenue from recycling is handled by the vendor and not expected to be extracted directly by the district.
