Revere Public Schools unveils student-designed mascot and logo

The Revere School Committee saw a presentation on a new mascot and logo on July 21, developed by a committee of students, staff and coaches.
Athletic director Dom Shea described the committee's work and student contributions: "This is the logo we came up with," he said, explaining that students adapted elements of the junior‑patriot design and redesigned the hat and face. The superintendent noted the design incorporates the Massachusetts outline with a star marking Revere.
Shea said the committee met five times over the school year and that students from AP Art and the art club made substantive edits. Committee members praised the student work and said they look forward to seeing the logo on uniforms and at events.
No vote was required; the presentation was informational and the committee expressed support for rolling the design into district materials and athletic gear.
