The Nephi City Council on Jan. 20 adopted Ordinance 01-20-2026 to annex the Jacobson property at 400 West and authorized Mayor Justin D. Seely to sign the document. Councilor JD Parady moved the ordinance and Councilor Jeramie Callaway seconded; the ordinance passed by roll call vote with Councilors Callaway, Douglas, Parady and Worwood voting yes and Council Member Shari Cowan recorded absent.
City Administrator Seth Atkinson told the council that Bryan and Lisa Jacobson and Mike and Ann Jones have signed the annexation agreements presenting those properties for incorporation. Councilor Travis Worwood had earlier moved that the mayor sign the Jacobson and Jones annexation agreements; Councilor Tate Douglas seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The approval authorizes the mayor to execute the agreements and finalizes the city's acceptance of the parcels into Nephi's municipal boundaries.
