Deputy Chief Dave Stein presented the Dyer Police Department's June activity report and said the department handled 747 incidents, including 42 arrests and 22 traffic accidents. "For the month of June, we had 747 incidents, 42 arrests, 22 accidents, 210 citations written, 334 warnings, and 464 traffic stops," Stein said.
Stein told the board appropriation reports are on file and asked members to raise any questions; none were offered and the board accepted the police department's June monthly report as a matter of record. The Chair noted the department's workload while members thanked officers and donors later in the meeting.
