The Putney Fire Department summarized operations for Oct. 27–Dec. 9, reporting 58 incidents in total: 26 EMS calls, 10 automatic fire alarms, 6 fire emergencies, 6 motor vehicle accidents, 5 tree/wires responses, 2 mutual aid responses and other calls. The department described recent training (auto extrication, EMS, tire‑chain procedures), routine maintenance and completion of a capital plan.
Highway Department staff reported fall grading, leaf removal, culvert cleaning and replacements, equipment maintenance including undercoating and new tires, and that plows and sanders are prepared for winter. These operational reports were provided as informational items in the manager’s packet and were noted by the board.
