Sue Coakley, chair of the Planning Commission, told the Selectboard that the current Town Plan contains general guidance on solar but lacks specific siting criteria; she recommended a study to develop criteria and suggested the Selectboard consider returning solar to the town meeting warrant for explicit direction. The Planning Commission’s report was included in the meeting packet.
Conn "Swift Everdy" Keimedy‑Spielman, the EIAC chair, read an EIAC November statement and presented training recommendations, including discussing fair and impartial policing guidance with the Town Manager. EIAC also noted the sheriff’s office policy follows state statute and said it would coordinate training recommendations with the town manager.
