Putney Selectboard adopts financial procedures, procurement and credit‑card policies, and rules of procedure
Summary
The board adopted a package of administrative policies including Internal Control & Financial Management Procedures, a Procurement Policy, a Credit Card Policy and revised Rules of Procedure; motions were made primarily by Aileen Tulloch and seconded by Rebecca "Bex" Slattery (Fletcher Proctor moved Rules of Procedure).
The Selectboard approved several administrative and financial governance documents from the meeting packet. Aileen Tulloch moved and Rebecca "Bex" Slattery seconded adoption of the Draft Internal Control & Financial Management Procedures, the Draft Procurement Policy and the Draft Credit Card Policy. Fletcher Proctor moved to adopt revised Rules of Procedure for the Selectboard; that motion also passed.
The board noted a typographical change in the internal control draft (correction of a name). The adoptions are recorded in the minutes and place the town on the stated procedures for procurement, card use and financial controls going forward.
