David Conwill, representing GMP, said the proposed location across the road at the cemetery curve is the best position for the pole and guide wire.
The Selectboard approved granting the easement and authorized the chair to sign the easement documents. The action enables GMP to proceed with the line and pole replacement work in the identified corridor along Route 5.
