Board told OSBA has sample AI policy and other templates boards can adapt

OSBA staff told the board their sample policy repository includes a recently drafted AI policy and numerous other templates districts can adapt. Presenters encouraged boards to request sample language by topic and to use OSBA resources to speed drafting. They cautioned that significant departures from OSBA samples should be reviewed by general counsel to manage legal risk and implementation feasibility.
