Public Works staff told the Council that two qualification statements were received for architectural and engineering services for a new ancillary building: Atriax PLLC and Native Forms Architecture PLLC. A staff evaluation committee recommended Native Forms unanimously, citing a technical approach suited to a modest 1,500-square-foot building and direct prior experience of committee members with the Native Forms team.
Mr. Sikes said staff will negotiate a fair and reasonable fee with Native Forms and return to Council with a proposed contract at a future meeting. The Council approved the recommendation by unanimous vote.
