Commission approves $310,496 change order adding sidewalks and street segments to 2026 project

The total contract increase cited was $310,496.00; the sidewalk portion will be funded from the Urban Renewal Agency Downtown TIF fund (available balance cited as roughly $17,000, with the sidewalk estimated at $15,771).
Commissioner Ed Beaudette asked about project oversight and whether the TIF funds would be used as a pass-through; Ms. Cline said the work will be performed under the existing contract specifications and that she will provide oversight while the pay application for the sidewalk portion comes from the identified TIF fund. CEO Bill Everett praised Trihydro and Hoffman’s contractor performance and asked the Commission to approve the change order. Commissioner Paul Smith moved to approve the change order; Commissioner Beausoleil seconded and the motion carried 5-0.
