The chair also disputed a report that Pocono Mountain Industries (PMI) owned property in the township, saying, "To the board's knowledge, PMI does not own property within Pocono Township" and called for the newspaper to publish corrections as appropriate. The statement corrected an item on the previous township manager's tenure and noted statutory deadlines for annual financial-interest statements; staff said interim managers will file disclosures by the statutory deadline of 05/01/2027. The board emphasized that official township actions are recorded in minutes, resolutions and ordinances and encouraged residents to consult public records for verification.
