Board adopts IRS mileage rate of $0.76 per mile

"So, if you wanna stay with the IRS rate, you'll need to make a motion to change it to 76¢," the county auditor said before a motion was offered and approved.
Supervisor Wecker moved to adopt the IRS rate and the board approved the change by voice vote. The auditor and supervisors discussed that the county has historically followed the IRS rate and that adopting the updated rate requires a single motion and resolution-level paperwork consistent with county policy.
