Bonduel committee holds two closed sessions on business development and staff evaluations; no action taken
Summary
On Sept. 24 the Committee of the Whole entered closed sessions twice — for possible business development (citing Wis. Stat. §19.85(1)(e)) and for 2026 staff evaluations (citing Wis. Stat. §19.85(1)(c)). Both sessions were preceded and followed by roll-call votes; in both cases the committee reported no action was taken.
The Village of Bonduel Committee of the Whole moved into closed session twice during its Sept. 24, 2025 meeting. At 6:28 p.m. the committee voted (motion by Andrew Court, second by Matt Pleshek) to go into a closed session for approximately five minutes to discuss possible business development, citing Wis. Stat. §19.85(1)(e). Clerk/Treasurer Michelle Maroszek, Director of Municipal Operations Jesse Rankin and Police Chief Keith Fischer were invited to attend. The roll-call vote recorded Court, Falk, Pleshek, Staszak, Streetman and Gehm as voting Aye; the committee returned to open session at 6:52 p.m. and recorded that no action had been taken while in closed session.
Later the committee again convened in closed session at 6:54 p.m. on a motion by Brenda Staszak, second by Michelle Streetman, to conduct 2026 staff evaluations and to review Addendum A, citing Wis. Stat. §19.85(1)(c). The same invited staff were noted as attending as needed. The committee returned to open session at 8:03 p.m. after a unanimous roll-call vote to end the closed session, and the minutes record that no action was taken following either closed session. The meeting adjourned at 8:04 p.m.
