The presentation described these mechanisms as the primary financing and governance tools for downtown projects.
Meeting materials and remarks noted that the RDA pursued further assistance for property owners: the Village applied for a Small Business Development Assistance (SBDA) grant specifically aimed at façade improvements. The presentation framed the plan as an early-stage road map; Fish-Peterson encouraged business owners to follow up individually to discuss how the plan could support specific storefront projects.
Next steps discussed during the meeting included individual outreach from Redevelopment Resources to business owners and continued RDA coordination of funding and project priorities. No formal votes or ordinances were taken at the meeting.
