Bonduel board removes 'local' restriction from Farmers Market rules for 2026

Board member Kay Zuleger moved and Michelle Streetman seconded a proposal to amend the Village of Bonduel’s Farmers Market Vendor Rules and Regulations for 2026 to remove references to "local" or "locally produced" products and to eliminate several vendor restrictions. The motion passed unanimously with seven members voting in favor.
Clerk/Treasurer Michelle Maroszek and other board members discussed that some current vendors come from beyond the immediate local area and that the existing language could exclude willing participants. The change takes effect for the 2026 market season and was approved as a standalone amendment to the vendor rules.
