Public Works to address park mowing and downtown weed control, council hears

Police Chief/Public Works Supervisor Brandon Leschke told council and attendees on June 15 that he had noticed areas that need more attention: "more attention needs to be given to the backside of the park for mowing and weed whacking," he said. He told the meeting Public Works will weed-whack around major traffic areas and spray weeds downtown.
The comments followed public discussion about July 3 event logistics and a later motion approving repairs to a park shelter; the city will schedule maintenance work with existing Public Works resources.
