Council authorizes repairs for city dump truck and Ford F-150; transmission replacement priced

The Weyauwega Common Council approved having the 2007 International dump truck/snowplow repaired and authorized replacing the transmission on a 2010 Ford F-150 at the June 15 meeting. The motion to repair the dump truck passed unanimously.
Public Works Supervisor Brandon Leschke reported that the Waupaca Truck Stop located a used transmission priced at $2,100 and estimated total installed cost "around $3,600." Councilmember Pat Gorchals moved and Councilmember Craig Braunschweig seconded the transmission replacement motion; it carried with all "ayes." City staff will proceed with procurement and scheduling for the repairs.
