"The closest quote that we have right now that they feel fairly comfortable with is that they're going to end up in the $10,000 range," a staff presenter said, and chief Davila had requested an added cushion. One board member moved to approve up to $3,000; the motion was seconded and the board approved the additional funds unanimously.
Board members clarified the vehicle will remain white and that the decaling needed for enforcement is included in the updated outfitting estimate. The board noted approval does not obligate spending the full cushion if not needed.
