Stephanie Aiken of Reflections Counseling Services Group told the council that Reflections became the sole provider for the REAL recovery program on July 1 and is hiring care managers and recovery coaches to staff 24/7 coverage. She described the program as "recovery, empowerment, advocacy and linkage," serving people with substance-use or co-occurring needs and frequent contact with first responders.
Aiken invited council members and the public to a recovery-month open house scheduled for late September (10 a.m.–3 p.m.) and said Reflections had about 80 partners and over 200 participants at last year's event. "We are a 365 day program," she said, noting referral sources include self-referral and community partners.
