Council votes to enter executive session to discuss pending litigation

Council voted 7–0 to go into executive session at the end of the meeting to discuss pending litigation identified as the Lehi litigation; motion moved by Mr. Schultmeyer and seconded by Mr. Morton.
At the July 23 meeting the council voted unanimously to move into executive session at the end of the meeting to discuss pending litigation. Director Lohman (Van Belkenberg) had requested that the session be held to discuss ongoing pending litigation referred to in the meeting as the Lehi litigation.
Councilmember Schultmeyer moved and Mr. Morton seconded the motion. The clerk called the roll and recorded 7 ayes and no nays, at which point the president announced the motion carries and confirmed the council would recess into executive session to discuss the matter.
