On Thursday, July 23, the chair of the Board of Zoning Appeals called the meeting to order at about 5:30 p.m. and announced, “we do not have a quorum,” meaning the board could not conduct business and the evening’s agenda items will be rescheduled. The chair told attendees staff would provide guidance on next steps after the meeting.
The chair said July is “always tough,” noting several members were on vacation, and said most items will likely be moved to the board’s next scheduled meeting on Aug. 27. The meeting was adjourned with no votes taken; as the chair put it, “we are adjourned. Don't even have to vote on it.”
