Commission finalizes roles, materials for 4th-grade field trip

Members of the Keystone Heights Heritage Commission reviewed and finalized logistics for a 4th-grade field trip during the March 17 meeting. City staff member Michele Murphy organized gift bags that have been ordered, received, and assembled but still require pamphlets and pencils to be added; the group identified a need to add pencils and six-panel brochures once copies are made.
Commissioners confirmed that Friends of Keystone Heights, Inc. voted to supply bottled water if the school does not, and volunteers Mary Lou Hull and Joni Huff will staff the crosswalk. The Commission also decided not to use the original embosser with students and instructed staff (Wendy Harris) to order two replica embossers; Chairwoman Deirdre Murphy will provide the ordering website to staff. The Commission noted the city has a paper cutter to prepare 300 sheets of paper to be used for a student seal activity.
