At the end of its July 22 meeting the La Salle-Peru Township High School District 120 board voted to enter executive (closed) session to discuss several matters including employment compensation, discipline and performance of a specific employee; review of minutes previously closed under the Open Meetings Act; security threats and potential danger to safety of employees, students or the public; and pending litigation.
Board President requested the motion and it was moved and seconded; roll call votes in favor were recorded. The president stated the closed session could be followed by open-session action if necessary. The public portion of the meeting ended after the vote to convene the closed session; details discussed in executive session were not disclosed in public transcript.
