Town staff reported a busy storm period around July 4 that produced about 25–30 emergency calls and damaged many road barricades and hydrants. "With the storms we've had, we've lost a lot of barricades... we have I put a purchase order and we have to replace probably 40 barricades," S2 said.
S2 said 15 to 20 hydrants were out of service with some repaired and others awaiting cost estimates from the regional water authority; repairs and equipment replacement will be budgeted and tracked. The board did not vote on additional storm-related appropriations during this meeting.
