Local entrepreneurs introduce small, family-run auto shop plan to council

Applicants Tracy Worley and Juan Rios came to the podium after staff presentation to describe their experience and the proposed operation. Worley said she and Rios have worked together for roughly two decades and chose the location to continue serving local customers.
Worley described the planned service as small-scale: "Juan and I have worked together well over, like, 20 years... it's gonna be light automotive repair, like brakes and suspension, that kind of stuff, and then oil changes... not like Jiffy Lube oil change where we'll have a 100 of them coming in and out in 1 day." She said initial staffing would likely be the two principals and possibly one mechanic added later. The council voiced support and welcomed the new business to Hastings.
