X Energy to stay in Montgomery County, plans 500-job expansion over five years

Babb framed the X Energy outcome as the result of ongoing relationship building and targeted outreach: monitoring lease expirations, tracking funding rounds and coordinating with brokers and county partners. "We worked very hard on that project and, you know, are happy to announce that X Energy has said that they're gonna stay here in Montgomery County," she told the committee.
