The City of Altamont council approved routine and contract items at its June 12, 2025 regular meeting. Mayor Richard Hayward called the meeting to order; Councilmember Colt Booth moved to approve the May 22 minutes and Councilmember Kyle Wiford seconded. The motion carried.
Councilmember Lyle Sykes moved to approve paying invoices totaling $116,115.64; Councilmember Colt Booth seconded and the motion carried. Later in the meeting Councilmember Sykes moved and Councilmember Booth seconded approval of the 2024 Municipal Audit. The council also approved a revised Stanfield Roofing quote for drainage and roof repairs in the amount of $39,017.85. The Parsons Area Community Foundation (PACF) item was tabled and the Altamont Senior Center funding request was to be revisited in six months. The meeting adjourned at 8:39 PM.
