"We passed a resolution to combat and address antisemitism specifically that passed unanimously by the previous council," Councilmember Andrew Friedson said, and he added the council funds nonprofit security grants for religious and ethnic organizations. Councilmember Evan Glass noted that the county convened the Anti‑Hate Task Force and that partnerships with the Jewish Community Relations Council, the Anti‑Defamation League and the American Jewish Committee are conducting trainings and localized interventions.
