City maintenance staff reported that Electric Pump repaired lift station No. 2 and installed a rebuilt pump for the main lift station. The invoice for the work was $1,823.50; council approved payment of the invoice on a motion by Bobbie Wosika and seconded by Dan Riggs.
Maintenance staff (Reid Watson) also reported an unexplained water loss of around 10,000 gallons per day, "which is equivalent to a toilet running," and said the loss is not going through the lift stations. Reid said staff have been searching for wet spots and listening to hydrants; MN Rural Water will return with listening equipment to locate the leak.
