Akeley Chooses Auditor Brian Koehn; Council Adopts Banking and Payment Policies

Council voted to accept Brian Koehn’s proposal and subsequently approved Resolution 1-2026 (consignments) and Resolutions 2-2026 through 5-2026, which establish authorized signatories, allow payments prior to council authorization, permit wire/automated payments, and adopt an electronic funds transfer policy for online vendor payments.
Council also appointed Dan Riggs as parks and recreation commissioner to fill a vacancy after Billy resigned.
