The Garrett County Board approved awarding the Meadow Mountain Trail Enhancement project to CRO Planning & Design for $235,000 after a five‑member committee reviewed three proposals. Purchasing staff reported bids of $211,500 from Larder/Klein Landscape Architects and $243,699 from RK&K; the committee recommended CRO based on scoring of the proposals.
County staff said the project is funded through Appalachian Regional Commission grant funding. The Board approved the contract award unanimously on a motion by Commissioner Ryan S. Savage, seconded by Commissioner S. Larry Tichnell, and made unanimous by Chairman Paul C. Edwards.
