The City Council unanimously approved Ordinance 57‑41 on final reading after a brief presentation by Planning Director Jeff Ray, who said the proposed text amendment simply inserts the words "Highway 275 corridor" into the Unified Development Code to clarify the corridor addressed by the sign standards.
"We recently discovered that there was an error that was made...we are inserting the words Highway 275 corridor into the UDC, to make that clear," Ray told the council. The council opened and closed the public hearing with no members of the public speaking and then suspended the rules to move the ordinance to final reading; the final vote was 8–0.
