Staff reported the town received a lease agreement proposing $2,000 per month in rent and up to $5,000 in land-clearing costs to prepare the site. "Got the lease agreement back today, and I sent it to Scott. They agreed to $2,000 a month and up to $5,000 in land clearing cost," the staff member said.
Council members said the prospective tenant also needs to resolve septic permitting with the county and secure an approved site plan before the matter will be placed on a council agenda for approval. Staff said they had forwarded the documents to the planner (Scott) for review and expected the item might appear at the council's next meeting after site-plan and permitting milestones were met.
