Council hears update on wastewater facility design and next steps for funding and operations

Staff said CWS has given only ballpark operational numbers because construction is roughly two years out and operating costs change annually. One staff member said preliminary ballpark figures suggested an estimate in the range of a few dollars per household per month but that exact numbers depend on the grant share, financing structure and final design. The council directed staff to plan a detailed presentation with Mead & Hunt and CWS so the community can see projected construction financing and monthly bills before decisions are finalized.
