Council to consider accepting donated stormwater pond from Custom Homes by Jeff LLC (Tiffany South Phase 1 & 2)

Staff presented a resolution to accept a donation of a stormwater pond from Custom Homes by Jeff LLC associated with the Tiffany South Phase 1 & 2 subdivision. Mr. McMurray told the council the pond had been inspected, met city standards, and staff recommended acceptance.
"This is standard procedure for stormwater ponds that service public right of ways to be owned and operated by the, City of Perry staff," Mr. McMurray said, explaining that Public Works would assume maintenance responsibilities after acceptance. Council asked why the donation was made; staff replied this is standard practice when ponds serve public right of way.
The resolution was presented for consideration and will appear on the regular agenda for action.
