Miss Hertz said the Chamber will bring a trailer restroom, request electricity and downtown string lighting, and will provide trash services; staff recommended approval and said the Chamber is responsible for fees and logistics. A council member urged in-person outreach and written follow-up to downtown businesses because Thursday nights are busy downtown; Miss Hertz said she would go door-to-door to explain logistics and invite merchants to stay open late to benefit from visitors.
Staff recommended approval pending discussions with downtown businesses and logistical follow-up.
