At its Dec. 16 meeting the Gregory City Council approved several routine operations items: replacing auditorium locks under a $1,985 vendor quote (city share $992.50); staff attendance at SDARWS/DANR 2026 certification training; adding highway lights, Grandview lights and Main Street lights to the city's 2026 insurance coverage; and authorizing the Water/Sewer Supervisor to select a new pick-up truck from available state bids.
The auditorium lock replacement motion was moved by Laura Petersen and seconded by Alex Hamilton; the motion to approve staff attendance at certification training was moved by Alex Hamilton and seconded by Stacey Boes. The council approved all items with votes recorded as 'All ayes.' The minutes do not include vendor names for the locks quote beyond the amount, nor the cost (if any) to the city for staff training or insurance premium changes; procurement will proceed per the state bid process for the vehicle selection.
