Trustee Olson moved to recommend the EMS command‑structure changes to the Board of Trustees; Trustee Castile seconded. The motion carried unanimously among the three voting members present (Olson, Castile, Sayas). This recommendation does not itself change department operations until acted on by the full Board. The next procedural step is the Board’s consideration of the recommendation; staff will also present the ambulance‑fee proposal at a Board meeting planned for the end of May.
