Parks and recreation staff told trustees they plan to install security cameras at concession buildings and to finish a box-system installation that will allow bathrooms at Village Park to remain open longer without staff present. The box system is intended to automate bathroom access and extend public availability.
"So we're looking to put the new security cameras in both buildings," the parks presenter said. Staff also said design and engineering for Main Square Park are advancing and invited trustees and the public to a design focus meeting next week to provide input on phased buildout options. No formal action was taken; staff will return with design and budget details.
