Separately, Mayor Adam said he had read that a county had placed a moratorium on consideration of data centers and asked whether the city should be part of that conversation; commissioners agreed the subject should be on the next intergovernmental agenda so the city and county can align on potential conditions or locations. One commissioner suggested moving the meeting cadence to quarterly and focusing invitations on the counties most affected by East Manhattan Gateway planning.
