During the meeting the board approved several service agreements for the 2026–27 school year: Elite ABA Services, supplemental occupational-therapy agreements, behavioral services via Ability Network, Team Select Home Care private-duty nursing and a three-year SPEDTRAK programming agreement. These motions were made, seconded and approved without recorded opposition.
The board also approved a food-service equipment purchase reportedly for $66,508 to a vendor identified in the packet (transcript shows inconsistent spellings: "Stafford Smith" and later "Stanford Smith"). Staff said the largest items are double-stack ovens going to the high school and that funds come from a food-service surplus consistent with audit requirements. The board approved a modest increase to student and adult meal prices after staff reported the audit showed prior shortfalls.
