During public comment, a resident criticized the redesigned planning website and portal, saying it is "extremely difficult and confusing to use" compared with the old site. She said attempts to print zoning applications produce blank pages and that a prior online way for citizens to report mud or runoff from construction sites appears to be gone.
The commenter said she had raised the issue with department staff and thanked Rachel (a deputy director) for responsiveness, but added the problem has not been fixed. Njoku acknowledged the complaint, invited the commenter to meet after the session and said staff are working to improve engagement tools including the e-permitting site and the Engage the Cab portal.
