DeKalb planning touts revamped business-license team and outreach for returning businesses

She described a coordinated team creating a "welcome package" to help businesses navigate license and tax certification requirements.
The director said having an up-to-date business-license registry allows the county to connect businesses with other government and nonprofit resources and supports economic development. "Business license division allows us to be able to know where our businesses are to be able to provide the business with support and to be able to open you up to opportunities," she said.
