Staff said the new CRA appointment's term begins Aug. 21 but they will remain on the PZB through August; commissioners asked staff to advertise interviews and suggested holding a special meeting to fill the single vacancy so the board is complete by September.
Commissioners also noted the Education Advisory Board (previously an education task force) lacks a staff liaison to arrange meetings and minutes. Staff agreed to look for an available staff liaison and to provide dates and term information to the commission.
