The Dayton School Board approved its consent agenda which included confirmation of multiple new employees and several fiscal and administrative designations. New hires confirmed included Kristen Smith (Fiscal Specialist), Jami Fluke (Junior High principal) and Nicole Long (assistant/vice principal), along with a range of teacher and support staff appointments.
The board also designated Superintendent Dr. Amy Fast as the district’s Budget Officer and clerk, named Interim Sean Burke as Deputy Clerk/Business Manager, designated Accuity as the district auditor and Hagan Hamilton Insurance & Financial Services as the insurance agent of record, and authorized the Superintendent and deputy clerk to sign checks and, if necessary, to borrow short-term funds to cover payroll and overhead up to outstanding budget receipts.
